Position Overview

SAP BRIM SOM Functional Analyst

Requirements:

• Have 8-10 years of experience as a business analyst/Functional consultant in S/4 BRIM SOM area.
• Proven leadership skill and excellent communication skills.
• Had in dept knowledge of quoting/contracting/Billing and pricing process in S/4 Hana BRIM. Strong experience in subscription order management (SOM) in the areas of solution quote, subscription order, subscription contract, cross catalog mapping, master agreement, ODI, contract change process etc. Have good understanding of BRIM CPQ integration.
• Collect and review the detailed business specifications with internal customers and the Product Owners.
• Based on high level business requirements, design and propose solutions to manage the requirements with out of box capabilities of BRIM and S/4 platform.
• Analyze the detailed impacts on existing customer processes end-to-end and collaborate with the Functional Analysts on SOM, CC, CI, RAR and FTM to vet the gathered requirements.
• Define functional requirements for the S/4 Hana BRIM solution part using OOB capabilities whenever possible
• At least worked on 1-2 projects in BRIM SOM area.
• Having knowledge of master data including customer master, subscription products.
• Certification in BRIM is good to have.
• Validate the detailed outcomes of the S/4 BRIM solution after the change with Product Owners, Solution Architect, peer Business Analysts and functional/Technical team to ensure everything is as per user agreed requirement specifications.
• Validate the detailed outcomes of the S/4 Hana BRIM solution after the change, with customers to ensure that the proposed solution meets their expectations.
• Validate technical requirements during the design phase.
• Support technical development team during the software implementation.
• Help with data prep to support various testing phases.
• Support testing team to execute end to end functional /regression/performance tests across BRIM and S/4 components including own customization and software developments.
• Coordinate user acceptance tests with the customer and testing team.
• Produce user documentation and educational materials to facilitate user understanding and adoption of new BRIM solution.
