Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and lead enterprise-scale data platforms and cloud-based data solutions for modern analytics and AI-driven business initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data architecture, cloud technologies, scalable distributed systems, and advanced analytics platforms.

This role will focus on building robust data ecosystems that support AI/ML workloads, enterprise reporting, real-time analytics, and large-scale data engineering initiatives across cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise data architecture strategies aligned with business and technology objectives.
Architect scalable cloud-based data platforms using Microsoft Azure and modern data engineering technologies.
Lead the design of enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and real-time analytics solutions.
Define data models, integration patterns, governance standards, and best practices for enterprise systems.
Collaborate with engineering, analytics, AI/ML, and business teams to deliver scalable and high-performance data solutions.
Design data pipelines and microservices-based architectures for batch and real-time processing.
Support AI/ML initiatives by building data frameworks optimized for advanced analytics and machine learning workloads.
Drive performance tuning, optimization, scalability, and reliability across enterprise data environments.
Establish architecture standards for data security, governance, lineage, and compliance.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions for cloud modernization initiatives.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to engineering and analytics teams.
Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Cloud Architecture roles.
Strong expertise in Azure cloud services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, and Azure SQL.
Deep understanding of enterprise data warehouse architecture and modern data lakehouse concepts.
Experience designing scalable distributed systems and microservices architectures.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience supporting AI/ML and advanced analytics platforms.
Strong understanding of performance tuning, scalability, and high-availability architecture principles.
Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Spark, or related big data technologies.
Proven ability to lead enterprise architecture initiatives and cross-functional technical teams.
