Job Title: Senior BI Analyst / Report Writer Job ID: 26-01067 Location: Remote Duration: 06 months on contract
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior BI Analyst / Report Writer with strong expertise in SQL, Power BI, Ellucian Banner, and Argos to develop enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. The role involves designing advanced dashboards, building complex SQL queries, and delivering data insights to support executive and operational decision-making.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and enterprise reports
  • Design Power BI dashboards, data models, and DAX measures
  • Build and manage Argos Enterprise reports and data blocks
  • Work with Ellucian Banner data (Student, Finance, HR modules)
  • Partner with stakeholders to define reporting strategies and KPIs
  • Ensure data accuracy, reporting standards, and governance compliance
  • Mentor junior analysts and improve reporting processes
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in BI, reporting, or analytics
  • Strong SQL and query optimization skills
  • Advanced Power BI (Data Modeling, DAX, Row-Level Security)
  • Experience with Ellucian Banner and Argos reporting
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Preferred:
  • Experience in Higher Education environments and data warehousing / ETL processes.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $50.00-$55.00 per hour.
