Job Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
• Manages and provides leadership for various initiatives, including clinical data integration and governance, with a focus on quality improvement and care coordination.
• Project and Data Management: Oversee and significantly contribute to the execution of complex, cross-functional projects. Manages the collection, analysis, and synthesis of Quality data, utilizing various research methodologies and data models.
• Create and maintain data quality dashboards and reports.
• Support data governance efforts by contributing to metadata management and data lineage documentation.
• Participate in root cause analysis and recommend process improvements to prevent recurring data issues.
• Develop data quality dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to track provider compliance and system accuracy.
• Preparing reports for leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
• Develop and execute data validation and cleansing routines using SQL/T-SQL and other tools.
Operational Workflow Support
• Support initiatives focused on Workflows associated with Utilization Management, Claims, documentation, workflow optimization.
• Evaluate how Epic processes interact with Home Health systems, data sources, and reporting tools to ensure Quality conformity.
• Recommend process and workflow improvements that balance home health effectiveness, operational efficiency, and quality.
Solution Design & Delivery Support
• Process Improvement and Best Practices: Conducts analyses of best practices in the health industry, identifies issues, and recommends initiatives to address data quality and integrity. Develops strategies and recommendations to meet objectives and may lead or participate in implementation teams.
• Assist in solution design activities, including workflow visualization, wireframe development, and functional design discussions.
• Translate business and quality needs into clear, structured inputs for internal technical teams and external vendors (Plexis, Epic).
• Qualify, Audit and Approve testing (Interface testing, functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) by validating requirements, defining test scenarios, and confirming outcomes meet expectations.
• Support solution evaluation by validating delivered outcomes against requirements and helping stakeholders assess effectiveness, adoption, and opportunities for refinement.
• Assist with end-user training and change readiness when needed, including documentation of workflows, job aids, and operational impacts.
Stakeholder Communication & Enablement
• Partner closely with Project Managers to ensure requirements are clear and sequenced, stakeholder inputs are aligned and decision-ready, and risks, dependencies, and change impacts are proactively identified and addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as a liaison between Epic product teams, Business teams, IT and Architecture teams, ensuring clear, consistent communication.
• Technical and Business Liaison: Acts as a liaison between IT and the business, understanding technical aspects of solutions, business systems, and software. Provides oversight and guidance in resolving complex issues and supports division budget and objectives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• Healthcare background, Home Health workflow / operations training, or analytics certifications preferred.
• Epic Home Health module certification and workflow experience
• 10+ years of experience in business analysis, home health operations, healthcare analytics, or related roles.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, workflow analysis, and stakeholder facilitation.
• Experience collaborating with Epic, Business, Data, BI, and IT teams on reporting, analytics, or system-related initiatives.
