Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI to join our team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving AI-powered initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation.
The successful candidate will possess strong business analysis capabilities along with hands-on exposure to AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and data-driven solutions. This role requires close collaboration with product owners, AI engineers, data scientists, and development teams to translate business challenges into innovative AI-driven solutions while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and governance standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for AI and Machine Learning initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, AI engineers, data scientists, and development teams.
- Translate business problems into AI-driven solutions and define detailed functional specifications.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, requirement workshops, and gap analysis sessions.
- Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Support AI/ML teams throughout model development, validation, testing, and deployment activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through AI automation and optimization.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and release management.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure AI solutions align with business objectives, compliance requirements, and governance standards.
- Perform data analysis and reporting using SQL to support business decisions and validate AI outcomes.
- Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps for project tracking and collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
- 7 9 years of Business Analyst experience.
- Proven experience working on AI, Generative AI, or Machine Learning projects.
- Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, and Llama.
- Knowledge of Prompt Engineering concepts and AI use cases.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong SQL and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and wireframes.
