Security Architect - Consultant
Max Pay Rate: $125/hour C2C

Role is fully onsite. Candidate location: Candidate must be a CURRENT SC resident. No relocation allowed.

Client seeks an experienced engineer that both deploys and administers Check Point security gateways, including VSX. They should have extensive experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Check Point firewalls within a complex enterprise environment. This person will be responsible for administering and simplifying the Check Point rulebase, while optimizing its utilization to meet business requirements, and improve visibility while ensuring security best practices are followed.
Required:
10+ years of experience deploying and administering Check Point security gateways
10+ years of experience administering and deploying Cisco data center networking products
5+ years of experience administering and deploying Check Point VSX
Experience administering and operating Check Point r82
Previous or current Check Point and/or Cisco Certifications
Preferred:
Experience deploying and administering Cisco Remote Access VPN solutions
Experience deploying and administering Cisco FirePower
