Job Title: Senior GPU Compute Engineer - Remote / Telecommute

Job Location: Austin, TX

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

5+ years of experience in GPU computing or distributed systems, or HPC environments.
Strong expertise with NVIDIA NCCL (NVIDIA Collective Communications Library).
Experience optimizing performance of distributed AI workloads.
Hands-on experience with Linux and GPU cluster environments.
Ability to analyze performance bottlenecks in distributed GPU compute environments.

Job Responsibilities:

Configure and optimize NCCL for distributed GPU clusters.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on NCCL usage for distributed GPU clusters.
Support integration of NCCL into internal performance test frameworks.
Analyze GPU communication bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
Work closely with DevQA and infrastructure teams to enable reliable performance testing.

Optional:

Experience with AI training or inference frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Experience supporting AI performance test suites.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
