About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled
AV & Event Support Technician to join a growing team supporting high-visibility meetings, events, and broadcasts. This Tier 2-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on AV work, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is comfortable supporting senior stakeholders. You'll help ensure seamless AV, broadcast, and unified communications experiences across multiple office locations.

Top Skills & Experience- 3-5 years of experience in AV break/fix, event support, and conference room support
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with:
- Zoom
- Crestron
- Q-SYS hardware/software
- Strong communication skills and experience interacting with high-level stakeholders
Nice-to-Have Skills- Experience with Panasonic cameras, Logitech Rally Bars, Neat devices
- Exposure to broadcast environments (training provided)
- Familiarity with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and other VC platforms
What You'll DoEvent & Meeting Support- Execute technical setups for meetings, training sessions, conferences, and broadcasts
- Support AV components including displays, projectors, HD cameras, control systems, microphones, speakers, switchers, and distribution amplifiers
- Assist users with screen sharing, laptop setup, and in-room AV/VC configuration
- Provide pre-production, live production, and post-production support
- Operate production equipment (video switchers, audio consoles, cameras-manned & robotic, lighting consoles, playout systems)
Daily Operations- Perform daily walk-throughs to test AV and VC meeting rooms
- Ensure AV hardware/software is prepared and functioning for organizational needs
- Provide user training and support for multimedia systems
- Support unified communication platforms and their integration into AV systems
Technical Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and resolve AV break/fix issues
- Assist with equipment setup, testing, storage, assembly, and teardown
- Perform cabling and wiring for AV integrations
- Conduct preventive maintenance on conference rooms (VC connections, wiring, peripherals, speakers)
- Document issues, maintain asset records, and escalate when needed
- Serve as grip, stagehand, or production assistant depending on event needs
Additional Expectations- Ability to work extended or non-traditional hours when required
- Travel between nearby office locations (approx. 30 minutes apart)
- Work as part of a collaborative team of five
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
