Job Summary

Avanciers seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead onsite execution of electrical and electrification projects. The role is responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective project delivery while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate onsite engineering, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Serve as the primary onsite technical and field representative.
  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure work complies with engineering drawings, specifications, codes, quality, and safety standards.
  • Manage schedules, field issues, punch lists, documentation, and project risks.
  • Lead safety walkdowns, LOTO, PPE compliance, pre-task planning, and field quality activities.
  • Manage subcontractors, trade labor, and multidisciplinary field teams.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for electrical, mechanical, and controls systems.
  • Coordinate commissioning, project acceptance, customer sign-off, and contract closeout.
  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, and corrective actions to leadership and customers.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of construction, field engineering, or field project management experience, preferably electrical.
  • 2 years of trade school, college, technical education, or equivalent journeyman experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, submittals, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
  • Experience with ATS, UPS, switchgear, electrical distribution, commissioning, EPMS, and SCADA concepts.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience managing subcontractors, trade labor, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong English communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and zero-incident culture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent scheduling tools.
  • Strong project planning, organizational, leadership, and customer-management skills.
  • Experience in electrification, electrical infrastructure, industrial, commercial, or data center projects.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
