Our client, a leading Fortune 50 retailer and technology-driven organization, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a strong UI/UX focus to help design, build, and enhance customer-facing and enterprise web applications. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who is passionate about creating intuitive user experiences, translating design concepts into scalable applications, and collaborating across product, design, and engineering teams.
Working within a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, you will contribute to modern web solutions that support large-scale digital platforms and business operations. The ideal candidate combines deep frontend expertise with an understanding of full-stack development principles and enjoys owning the user experience from concept to production.
Job Description
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing modern web applications with a strong emphasis on user experience, usability, and frontend architecture. You will partner with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, accessible, and high-performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop responsive, scalable web applications using React and modern frontend technologies.
  • Create reusable UI components and build intuitive, data-driven user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective user experiences.
  • Utilize Figma to create wireframes, prototypes, and user interface designs.
  • Own the end-to-end UI development lifecycle, from design through implementation and production support.
  • Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
  • Improve application performance, reliability, accessibility, and overall user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while maintaining high-quality engineering standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/deployment processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to modernize and enhance enterprise-scale applications.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on frontend development.
  • Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development.
  • Experience building scalable, reusable UI components and complex web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Figma, including wireframing, prototyping, and translating designs into production-ready interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices, usability principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
  • Experience leading end-to-end UI development initiatives.
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building, enhancing, or modernizing large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Ability to independently drive UI/UX design decisions and influence application usability.
  • Experience collaborating closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with fraud prevention, risk management, security, or compliance-focused applications.
  • Experience working in highly scalable, data-intensive environments.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience with Java or Kotlin development.
    • Experience building applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
    • Familiarity with event-driven platforms such as Kafka.
    • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
    • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
    • Understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native application development.
