Instrument Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Instrument Technician in Milford, MI.

Technical Responsibilities (Preferred):
* Can follow Schematic Markup
* Printed circuit board (PCB) check out and visual inspections
* Assist engineers in root causing failed electrical components

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with hot air reflow (e.g. IC replacement)
* Familiarity with bench lab equipment - Power supplies, oscilloscopes, load boxes, flash tools
* Mechanical assembly (hand tools) - ability to assemble and disassemble controllers
* Ability to solder small electrical components (e.g. 0805, 0402, etc.)
* Ability to create (design and build) wire harnesses and Build Test Boxes/Breakout boards
* Ability to multitask and clearly document status per controller

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
