Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Senior Tax Accountant to support an organization based in Irmo, SC.

This is a high-visibility role working closely with executive leadership to ensure regulatory integrity, financial stability, and operational readiness as the organization grows. The right person will help shape how the company approaches tax strategy, compliance execution, and financial governance moving forward.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee corporate tax compliance and ensure all regulatory filings are completed accurately and on time.

• Manage governance-related tax reporting and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements.

• Establish repeatable tax processes, documentation standards, and internal controls.

• Partner with executive leadership to support forward-looking tax strategy and financial planning.

• Coordinate with external advisors and auditors to ensure regulatory and reporting requirements are met.

• Support broader finance initiatives by providing tax expertise and guidance.

• Work closely with internal accounting staff to ensure consistency, accuracy, and operational readiness.

What You’ll Need

• Strong experience in corporate tax compliance and regulatory reporting.

• Experience managing federal, state, and local tax obligations.

• Ability to establish and improve financial processes and documentation standards.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with executive leadership and external advisors.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Experience working in a growing or evolving organization is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
