Summary

Qualifications -

Bachelor''s degree in Health Informatics, Statistics, Public Health, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience analyzing healthcare data, ideally in a consulting firm, health plan, or health system setting.
Proficiency in SQL; experience with a scripting language such as Python or R is a plus.
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
Familiarity with healthcare data standards and sources (claims, EHR/EMR, HL7/FHIR, ICD-10, CPT codes).
Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy requirements.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain data insights to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and analyze healthcare data from claims databases, and other clinical or operational sources.
Build and maintain dashboards and reports in organisation''s data analytics platforms to track KPIs such as patient outcomes, readmission rates, cost of care, and quality metrics.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations.
Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, gaps in care, and opportunities for process improvement.
Document data definitions, workflows, and methodologies to support reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
Present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.
