Responsibilities

Maintenance of existing systems as well as new development work. - Participate in requirements gathering phase. - Analysis, design, coding and unit/integration testing. - Create and update program specifications and detail design documentation. - Research and fix production issues. - Application performance tuning. - Mentor staff on programming standards. - Troubleshoot complex production issues. - Guide to training classes.

Skills Needed

• 84 months of COBOL programming experience.
• 60 months experience with a government taxation organization which includes business knowledge, technical design, development, maintenance, and end user support of complete Tax Return Processing.
• 84 months of IBM DB2 experience working with enterprise databases.
• 60 months of IBM MQSeries experience.
• 60 months of application performance tuning and analysis.
• 60 months of experience writing technical design
• specification documents for multifaceted component-based systems.
• 48 months of system analysis and design experience for multi-tiered transactional systems.
• 84 months of JCL experience.
• 36 months of IBM DataStage programming experience.
