StaffRight Associates is partner-tracking an influential leadership role tailored for a visionary architectural strategist ready to spearhead high-impact healthcare environments. In this position, you will direct the execution of sophisticated inpatient and ambulatory care interior transformations from inception through delivery.

Operating within a highly collaborative, award-winning ecosystem, you will serve as the principal advocate for design excellence and structural compliance across the regional portfolio. This is a definitive opportunity to champion complex, large-scale medical infrastructure modernizations that directly elevate patient care and clinical operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Business Development: Architect compelling responses to formal RFPs, negotiate comprehensive project contracts, and deliver persuasive presentations to secure high-value client engagements.

  • Master Financial Engineering: Formulate, evaluate, and track detailed project budgets, resource utilization, fee structures, staffing projections, and monthly financial metrics to maximize profitability.

  • Champion Client Relations: Serve as the definitive primary liaison bridging complex healthcare networks, landlord entities, external consultants, and specialized real estate teams across all design and execution phases.

  • Navigate Regulatory Frameworks: Conduct deep-dive structural building assessments, evaluate complex leases, and cross-examine designs for absolute alignment with NYC, NYS, ADA, and NFPA building and Department of Health (DOH) regulations.

  • Supervise Technical Production: Direct the day-to-day operations of an elite, dedicated project team, performing rigorous final red-line reviews of structural documentation to guarantee flawless Department of Buildings (DOB) submissions and general contractor bidding.

  • Synthesize Operational Logistics: Manage the end-to-end contractor procurement cycle, execute structured construction administration meetings, orchestrate scope revisions, and steer final asset close-outs and legal sign-offs.

What You Bring

  • Academic Foundation: Earned Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) required; a Master’s degree (M.Arch) represents a distinct advantage.

  • Sector-Specific Longevity: Amassed 10 to 25 years of continuous, verified architectural project management tenure explicitly focused on inpatient medical complexes and outpatient ambulatory facilities.

  • Technical Software Literacy: Maintained a functional, active command of Revit and AutoCAD platforms to oversee structural modeling accuracy.

  • Regulatory Expertise: Demonstrated subject matter expertise regarding New York State and New York City building standards, DOH compliance, fire safety rules (NFPA), and accessibility laws.

  • Executive Presence: Displayed exceptional public speaking, diplomatic negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills required to manage multidisciplinary stakeholder groups.

Compensation & Total Rewards

Core Compensation

  • Annual Base Salary Range: $120,000 to $170,000, calibrated directly to your depth of architectural portfolio leadership and technical expertise.

  • Mental Health Resources: Embedded Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) providing confidential therapeutic coaching and mindfulness tools.

Future Planning

  • Retirement Optimization: Robust 401(k) planning avenues featuring competitive employer-matched contributions.

  • Corporate Safeguards: Fully sponsored life insurance policies and comprehensive long-term disability protection options.

Work-Life Balance

  • Hybrid Work Architecture: Enjoy structured flexibility via a premier hybrid workflow consisting of four structured on-site collaboration days and one remote operational day.

  • Strategic Commuting Access: Primary office infrastructure positioned centrally with seamless transit connections near Penn Station and Long Island.
