Job Description: | We are seeking an experienced HCL contractor to support our IT team in reviewing and stabilizing our current application environment. The contractor will assist with environment configuration, deployment process evaluation, code review, and knowledge transfer to internal staff. This role requires strong technical expertise in HCL technologies, a structured approach to problem‑solving, and the ability to provide actionable recommendations to improve system stability and maintainability. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and document current application environments (dev/test/prod), including configurations, integrations, and dependencies.
- Review deployment processes and provide recommendations for improving efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
- Review existing application code to identify defects, risks, technical debt, or areas requiring optimization and update existing code with enhancements.
- Assist with troubleshooting environment‑related issues, deployment failures, or configuration inconsistencies.
- Conduct structured knowledge transfer sessions with internal teams to ensure long‑term maintainability.
- Provide recommendations and best practices for code stability, environment management, and deployment automation.
- Collaborate with internal IT staff, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to clarify requirements and identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare documentation outlining findings, recommended remediation steps, and improvement plans.
