Job Description:
Job Title: Senior Platform Software Engineer
• The team builds and operates the platform behind a number of critical system offerings. This developer will work with our Platform team to design and develop tools and platform capabilities Requirements
• 6+ years of software development experience
• Strong command of at least one of Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go
• Experience in backend development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed/parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, or systems/security software development
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and container
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or CodeDeploy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams Preferred
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience
• Hands-on AWS experience
• Databases and middleware — Postgres, Kafka, Redis
• Big data stack — data warehousing, MPP, Spark, Flink
• Micro-service architecture and service mesh
• UI development experience
