SAP Functional Analyst : onsite 3 days a week. MWTH in Des Moines
for SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM)
Local candidates are preferred but remote is an option. If local, onsite 3x per week. Experience in at least one of the below is required, all three are preferred:
- SAP PP (Production Planning)
- SAP QM (Quality Management)

The SAP SCM SDL is responsible for providing functional and technical leadership for SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications, ensuring stable operation, continuous improvement, and effective support of supply chain business processes. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, SAP support teams, and external vendors to resolve issues, optimize system performance, and drive enhancements across SCM modules. Key Responsibilities Application Support & Incident Management
- Lead Level 2 and Level 3 support SAP SCM landscape.
- Manage production incidents, service requests, and problem management activities.
- Ensure timely resolution of support tickets while meeting SLA commitments.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
- Coordinate support activities during critical business periods and system outages.
Enhancement & Project Support
- Lead small to medium enhancement projects and change requests.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
- Support SAP upgrades, patches, and transformation initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for SCM business users.
- Conduct regular meetings with supply chain leaders to review support metrics and enhancement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP MM, SD, EWM, TM, and Finance.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to ITIL support processes and SAP change management procedures.
- Maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, and process workflows.
- Monitor system performance and identify risks affecting business operations.
- Support audit and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in information technology, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 5 years in SAP SCM support and implementation.
- Experience in production support environments and incident management.
- Knowledge of SAP integration with MM, SD, EWM, TM, and Finance modules.
Understanding of supply chain planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory management processes
