Job Description:
CAD CAM Engineer

Location: Chandler, Arizona (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract to hire

Role Overview

An opportunity is available for a CAD CAM Engineer to support a Mechanical and Energetics department. This position involves creating and reviewing drawing/design packages, ensuring compliance with industry and military standards. The role requires working within a design group to review designs for fit, function, and manufacturability under the supervision of a senior designer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and review mechanical drawings, verifying dimensions, materials, and quantities.
  • Utilize Siemens NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter for mechanical modeling.
  • Create and revise parametric drawings in conformance with ASME 3D modeling and drawing standards.
  • Review tolerance analysis, hardware selection, and fitment on assembly prints.
  • Verify 3D models submitted to manufacturing.
  • Liaise with engineering, manufacturing, and quality departments.
  • Perform related duties as assigned or required.
Required Qualifications

Technical Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of GD&T and its application.
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows.

Professional Skills:
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work accurately under schedule pressure.
  • Developed time management and organizational skills.


Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated pay range for this position is $25.00 to $32.00 per hour. Please note that this is a contract-to-hire position. This contract position aligns with a full-time role of Design Engineer 2. The provided compensation details are subject to change.
