SecuriGence delivers mission-critical technology services in support of national security and economic interests. We are seeking a Hardware/Software Installation Technician to support the Joint Service Provider (JSP) Endpoint Modernization Program. The Hardware/Software Installation Technician provides hands-on installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstations and associated hardware, software, and network components to ensure secure, reliable, and continuous availability of endpoint IT systems.

Responsibilities
  • Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user PC workstations and related hardware, peripherals, and software.
  • Perform system imaging, software installation, and BIOS configuration.
  • Troubleshoot hardware components, internal PC systems, and peripheral devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues involving desktops, laptops, printers, digital senders, mobile devices, and standard office equipment.
  • Support SDN environments and implement port security configurations as required.
  • Provide support for Active Directory account and workstation-related activities.
  • Perform cable management, desktop deployments, monitor and KVM setup, and laptop issuance.
  • Validate ticket information for accuracy and completeness; escalate issues appropriately via the ticketing system.
  • Provide customer support via email, phone, and walk-in assistance.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and asset tracking (proficiency in MS Excel required).
  • Provide input and updates to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in day-to-day operational activities and support special projects as assigned.
  • Maintain a strong customer-service orientation in all interactions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • DoDI 8140 IAT Level II certification
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Successfully pass background and drug screening

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent technical knowledge of PC and desktop hardware, including internal components.
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Working technical knowledge of current operating systems, standards, and enterprise environments.
  • Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories safely and effectively.
  • Ability to research and analyze PC-related issues and emerging technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in user-friendly language.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
