Position: Appian Architect

Location: Tampa, FL & Dallas, TX & Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid Model)

Job Type: 6+ Months Contract to hire (FTE)

Required Skills & Qualification:

  • The Appian Architect position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in leading end-to-end Appian projects.
  • Knowledge of BPM architecture and its best practices is essential, as is the ability to work with development teams and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in no-code/low-code BPM solutions like Appian.
  • Extensive experience in BPM application development.
  • Excellent knowledge of core BPM concepts, records, interfaces, process models, deployments using pipelines, integrations, and Web APIs.
  • Experience working with different BPM object types, query rules, constant rules, and expression rules. Experience leading Appian development teams.
  • Knowledge of Appian platform essentials and suite of capabilities.
  • Experience with configuration, deployment, and testing of enterprise software applications, specifically Appian.
  • Experience with software delivery methodologies such as agile/scrum.
  • Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities.
  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.
  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills.
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The role involves proficiency in no-code/low-code Business Process Management (BPM) solutions like Appian for workflow automation.
  • The candidate will be responsible for extensive BPM application development and must possess excellent knowledge of core BPM concepts, including records, interfaces, process models, deployments using pipelines, integrations, and Web APIs.
  • The architect will build applications that include interfaces, process flows, expressions, data types, sites, and integrations.
  • Additionally, the role involves performing analysis, designing process models, records, reports, SAIL, forms, gateways, smart services, integration services, and web services.
  • Lead end-to-end Appian projects.
  • Develop BPM applications using Appian.
  • Design process models, records, reports, SAIL, forms, gateways, smart services, integration services, and web services.
  • Build applications including interfaces, process flows, expressions, data types, sites, and integrations.
  • Participate in analysis, design, and new development of applications.
  • Work collaboratively with development teams and cross-functional teams.
