Manhattan WMS Analyst
Long-term 1 year+ contract
We are looking for someone that can support an existing IBM Mainframe COBOL environment while helping transition to a New WMS/TMS platform [Manhattan, Blue Younder, or SAP]. The strongest profile is a hybrid legacy-modernization professional who understands both mainframe operations and supply chain systems.
Responsibilities
Mainframe Expertise (Current State Support)
· IBM z/OS administration and support
· COBOL development and maintenance
· JCL (Job Control Language)
· VSAM, DB2, IMS databases
· CICS transaction processing
· Mainframe batch processing and scheduling
· Production support and incident management
· Data extraction and integration from legacy applications
Manhattan WMS/TMS Expertise (Future State)
· Manhattan Active WMS or Manhattan WMOS
· Manhattan TMS implementation and support
· Warehouse operations and logistics knowledge
· Transportation planning and execution processes
· Configuration, testing, and deployment
· API, EDI, and integration framework experience
· User acceptance testing and business process mapping
Requirements
• 10+ years supporting IBM Mainframe systems
• 3+ years with Manhattan WMS or TMS
• At least one large-scale migration or modernization project
• Experience working with business stakeholders during transformation initiatives
• Great oral and written communication skills.
• Able to participate in a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• A clear understanding of the following areas: distribution center operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, transportation execution, supply chain planning, and manufacturing & warehouse workflows
