Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design and develop scalable backend applications and APIs using Python and modern asynchronous frameworks.
- Build document-generation and PDF-processing solutions supporting complex formatting and accessibility requirements.
- Develop integrations with enterprise data, storage, authentication, and notification systems.
- Implement automated testing, security controls, containerization, and CI/CD processes for reliable application delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Python development, backend application development, API development, and enterprise software integration.

|
Technical Skills
|
Python 3.11+, FastAPI, Pydantic, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, PDF/document-generation libraries, Docker, CI/CD
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
Backend application development, Enterprise system integration, Document generation, Cloud application development, Application security, Event-driven architecture
|
|
Communication
|
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation
|
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

AWS Certified Developer – Associate or equivalent preferred

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with complex PDF formatting, watermarking, bookmarking, accessibility, and multi-page document generation.
- Knowledge of OAuth2/JWT, enterprise identity platforms, API authorization, tenant isolation, and secure webhook design.
- Experience with senior-level architecture decisions, automated security testing, and cross-functional technical collaboration.
