Role Overview

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design, customize, and maintain Jira, Confluence, and service management tools to automate business and operational workflows.
- Configure Jira projects, queries, reports, custom fields, issue types, permission schemes, and complex workflows.
- Develop custom Jira and Confluence plugins/extensions and create ETL scripts for external system data imports.
- Integrate Atlassian tools with version control systems, DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and third-party software.
- Implement Identity Provider (IDP) and Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations using LDAP/SAML.
- Monitor system performance, implement optimizations, and troubleshoot complex technical issues within Jira and Confluence.
- Provide end-user support, author administrator runbooks, and lead technical training sessions.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Skill Level: Senior (60–84 months of experience working independently, guiding others, and handling full software development lifecycle tasks).
Requested Qualifications & Experience
- Jira Development: 60+ months of experience developing in Atlassian Jira.
- Jira Troubleshooting & Administration: 60+ months troubleshooting Jira issues and managing user access/permissions.
- Jira Performance Optimization: 60+ months monitoring and optimizing Jira performance for system stability.
- Technical Documentation: 60+ months authoring technical documentation, mapping business workflows, and creating admin runbooks in Confluence.
- Atlassian Confluence: 36+ months of experience in Atlassian Confluence.
- DevOps Methodologies: 36+ months of hands-on experience with DevOps methodologies.
