Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL programming. The candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining database applications, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

  • Optimize database queries and improve application performance.

  • Design and implement database objects, views, indexes, and data models.

  • Perform query tuning, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

  • Work with Oracle databases, data migration, and ETL processes.

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and QA teams.

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and database standards.

  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, deployment, and production support.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.

  • Strong knowledge of stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, cursors, and exception handling.

  • Experience with query optimization, execution plans, indexing, and performance tuning.

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Database, SQL, joins, analytical functions, and complex queries.

  • Knowledge of database design, normalization, and data modeling.

  • Experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting and job scheduling is preferred.

  • Familiarity with ETL tools, data warehousing, and database migration is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and debugging skills.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
