Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications, including user interfaces, backend services, APIs, and data integrations, to support enterprise and business requirements.
Develop secure web portals and enterprise applications for internal and external users, implementing identity management, role-based access, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
Integrate applications with cloud services, enterprise APIs, analytics platforms, and data warehouses. Design event-driven architectures and scalable data integration solutions to support healthcare and public health data processing.
Implement modern software delivery practices, including automated deployments, CI/CD, DevSecOps, unit and integration testing, code reviews, monitoring, logging, performance optimization, and production support.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
8 years of experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting full-stack web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies, including UI development, APIs, security, authentication, authorization, data integration, and production support.
5 years of experience developing secure web portals or enterprise applications supporting internal and external users, including role-based access, identity management, API integration, secure coding, testing, performance optimization, and operational support.
5 years of experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, FastAPI, and Terraform.
Technical Skills:
React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, FastAPI, Terraform, AWS, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, Docker, Kubernetes
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience developing enterprise applications supporting healthcare, public health, disease surveillance, and health information management environments.
Experience supporting healthcare workflows involving electronic case reporting, laboratory data exchange, healthcare records, and public health reporting.
Experience handling sensitive healthcare information while supporting HIPAA compliance, patient privacy, information security, and healthcare data governance requirements.
Experience designing and developing enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, and data-processing components supporting healthcare business operations.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.
