Job Description:

The client is seeking a senior-level Salesforce Technical Lead who can provide both strategic direction and hands-on leadership for the design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of Salesforce solutions, with a strong emphasis on higher education environments and Salesforce Education Cloud. The ideal candidate brings deep Salesforce platform expertise along with a product-minded approach, capable of making informed architectural and design decisions, overseeing vendors and system integrators, and collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders. This role requires the ability to deliver scalable, secure, and integration-ready CRM solutions that align with institutional objectives and long-term roadmap goals.

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee Salesforce technical architecture and solution design
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance with institutional standards
• Provide technical leadership, standards, and best practices
• Review and approve vendor technical designs and deliverables
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Collaborate with project, change management, and enterprise teams

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including large-scale implementations
• Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce architecture, configuration, automation, and customization
• Experience leading technical teams and providing architectural governance
• Experience overseeing and validating work performed by implementation vendors
• Experience designing solutions that integrate with enterprise systems
• Experience supporting higher education or Education Cloud (EDA) implementations
• Salesforce certifications demonstrating advanced platform knowledge
