Summary
Location: Remote Dallas, TX travel up to 6 times/year
Southwest Airlines is looking for highly experienced, hands-on Sr. Cloud AWS Lambda Developers with strong software development and AWS serverless expertise.
Must-Have Skills- Current hands-on experience developing AWS Lambda applications/APIs using Python
- Strong Kafka / Messaging Queue experience
- Hands-on Terraform experience
- Experience using Amazon Q for coding/development
- Strong background as a Software Developer, preferably Java/Python
- 15+ years of US-based professional experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to remain hands-on and serve as a key technical contributor
- Good career stability and tenure
- Active, established LinkedIn profile
- Must be able to travel to Dallas up to 6 times per year; expenses covered
- No West Coast candidates
- Must be actively involved in technical development rather than primarily leadership or strategy
Candidates primarily focused on DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, Linux Administration, pure Architecture, Leadership/Strategy, Front-End, or Full-Stack development without strong recent AWS Lambda/Python experience.
