Job Duties
- Provide administrative and technical support for the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Maintain controlled quality documentation, SOPs, drawings/blueprints, inspection reports, CAPAs, and non-conformance records.
- Oversee and maintain the calibration schedule for measuring and test equipment.
- Support internal/external quality audits and track expiration dates for customer certification submittals.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
Experience Requirements
- Experience inspecting manufactured products using established quality standards and specifications.
- Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, or inspection documents.
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devices.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and document inspection results accurately.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- 3+ years of administrative support or QMS/quality control experience; proficient in standard office/PC software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred.
- Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial.
- Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a Quality Assurance Administrator.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
- Ability to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
