Job Title: PC / LAN Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ – Onsite
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Pay range: $25 to $30 per hour (DOE)
Job Description:
- Support a large-scale Desktop Refresh Program involving deployment and replacement of desktop and laptop systems
- Perform system imaging, workstation setup, and installation of peripherals such as monitors, docking stations, and printers
- Conduct hardware replacement and provide basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Provide onsite technical support to judicial staff and end users with a professional, customer-focused approach
- Track inventory and update ticketing/asset management systems with accurate documentation
- Follow deployment schedules, rollout timelines, and standard procedures
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume deployment environment
Assist with asset tracking and maintain records of deployed equipment
Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of experience in desktop support, deployment, or technical support (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience deploying and configuring Windows desktop and laptop systems
- Basic knowledge of workstation imaging and deployment processes.
- Experience setting up and troubleshooting peripherals (monitors, docking stations, printers)
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow written procedures and deployment schedules
- Basic troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Experience updating tickets and documenting completed work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple locations
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience supporting desktop refresh or large-scale deployment projects
- Familiarity with SCCM, MDT, Intune, Autopilot, or similar tools
- Experience in enterprise or public sector IT environments
- Knowledge of Active Directory and basic network troubleshooting
- Experience with asset tracking and inventory management systems
- Experience working in high-volume deployment environments.
