Our staffing agency is partnering with a manufacturing company seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Repair Technician to join its team. This individual will be responsible for repairing, restoring, and maintaining vehicle bodies, panels, and structural components to ensure vehicles meet quality, safety, and appearance standards.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with bodywork, dent repair, panel replacement, surface preparation, and finishing techniques. Experience working with commercial vehicles, fleet vehicles, or industrial equipment is a plus.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Auto Body Repairman to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing trucks and heavy-duty construction equipment. This includes performing a wide range of tasks from basic maintenance to complex repairs and restorations. The position requires a deep understanding of welding, sheet metal work, and other essential repair services. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

1. Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues in trucks and heavy-duty construction equipment.
2. Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment and vehicles, including inspection, tire rotation, and oil changes.
3. Utilize welding skills to repair metal body parts and structural components.
4. Fabricate and install sheet metal parts as required.
5. Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used for each job.
6. Work closely with team members to complete large-scale projects.
7. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when performing repair work.
8. Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
9. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with all team members.
10. Continually stay updated with the latest techniques and technologies in auto body repair.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational or technical training in auto body repair or a related field is preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Auto Body Repairman, with a focus on trucks and heavy-duty construction equipment.
3. Proficient in welding and sheet metal fabrication.
4. Strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment and vehicle issues.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to auto body repair.
7. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
8. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
9. Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
10. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
11. ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.
