We are looking for System Architect for our client in Frankfort, KY
Job Title: System Architect
Job Location: Frankfort, KY
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
  • Lead the development of specifications and standards for internet connectivity, WAN infrastructure, networking, voice, unified communications, switching, routing, WiFi, and video systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, partners, and internal teams to define technical strategies and solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership on network-focused projects and support project teams with design and implementation.
  • Participate in planning, design, and engineering of future IT systems and initiatives.
  • Guide transition of completed projects into production support environments.
  • Act as the primary network architect, conducting research and planning for future network initiatives.
  • Ensure interoperability and integration of new systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Engage with vendors and partners to align technology strategies with organizational goals.
  • Provide architectural oversight and technical guidance for network-related system modifications.
  • Support testing, implementation, and provide advanced technical support.
  • Participate in procurement processes including RFI and RFP evaluation and contract support.
  • Attend meetings to understand organizational and stakeholder requirements.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
  • Track and report work activities using project management tools.
  • Provide on-call support as required and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Experience designing and implementing large-scale enterprise networks.
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies including WAN, LAN, routing, switching, and unified communications.
  • Ability to lead technical projects and provide architectural guidance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in team environments and independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead network architecture design and implementation.
  • Ensure system integration and performance optimization.
  • Provide technical leadership and project support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Maintain system documentation and standards.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
