Overview

We are seeking a UX/UI Designer & Front-End Web Developer to enhance the look, feel, and performance of a growing digital presence. This is a hybrid design-and-development role focused on improving existing user experiences, creating new landing pages and conversion funnels, and bringing designs to life through front-end development.

The ideal candidate combines exceptional design instincts with strong technical skills. You'll play a key role in creating intuitive, high-converting user experiences while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize digital performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, enhance, and optimize landing pages, user journeys, and digital experiences with a focus on usability, engagement, and conversion.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and production-ready designs.
  • Translate designs into clean, responsive front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Continuously improve site experiences by implementing enhancements based on testing, analytics, and user insights.
  • Ensure a seamless user experience across all devices, following a mobile-first design approach.
  • Maintain high standards of UX/UI quality, visual consistency, accessibility, and responsiveness.
  • Prototype and iterate quickly while balancing speed, quality, and business objectives.
  • Identify and resolve design, usability, and functionality issues before release.
  • Contribute to and maintain design systems, reusable components, and style guidelines.
  • Partner with marketing, product, ecommerce, and business stakeholders to support campaigns, launches, and ongoing initiatives.
  • Utilize modern AI-powered development tools to accelerate design-to-development workflows and improve productivity.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing user experiences for websites, preferably in an ecommerce, digital marketing, or conversion-focused environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing modern visual design, interaction design, information hierarchy, and responsive web experiences.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools to support design and front-end development workflows.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with the ability to independently implement and refine designs.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Knowledge of web technologies, browser behavior, performance optimization, and front-end best practices.
  • Experience with modern design tools such as Figma or comparable platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished user experiences.
  • Analytical mindset with an interest in user behavior, optimization, and performance measurement.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting or owning conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing initiatives.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, or similar solutions.
  • Experience working with analytics tools and using data to inform design decisions.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards, page speed optimization, and modern UX best practices.
  • Exposure to design systems and component-based development approaches.
