Summary

SGA is seeking a technically strong Senior Network Analyst / Support Engineer for a Contractor opportunity with one of our premier financial services clients in Dallas, TX. Hybrid: 2-3 days in office.
This role will focus on designing, engineering, and supporting enterprise-scale network infrastructure across U.S. operations, with a strong emphasis on LAN/WAN, WiFi, voice, and network segmentation/security .
The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on experience in enterprise networking environments, including routing, switching, segmentation, and WAN connectivity, and will play a key role in both day-to-day operations and strategic network initiatives. Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and optimize enterprise WiFi and campus network solutions
  • Engineer and support LAN architectures, including VLAN design and switch deployments
  • Lead WAN connectivity engineering (routing, failover, QoS, bandwidth optimization)
  • Drive network segmentation initiatives across WAN, VPN, IoT, and LAN environments
  • Implement and manage ACL strategies (geo-segmentation, list/list models)
  • Support security and audit-driven network initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Troubleshoot complex network performance and routing issues, including cross-site connectivity
  • Serve as escalation point for major network incidents (LAN/WAN/WiFi outages)
  • Collaborate with global infrastructure, security, and data center teams
  • Maintain detailed network documentation and configuration standards
  • Participate in after-hours deployments and on-call rotations
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering/support
  • Strong experience with:
    • LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, WiFi
    • Routing & Switching (Cisco/Aruba/Juniper/Fortinet)
    • Network segmentation and ACLs
  • Experience with network operating systems and platforms:
    • Cisco, Aruba, Silver Peak, Juniper, Fortinet
  • Solid understanding of:
    • DNS, DHCP, IPAM
    • TCP/IP and network protocols
  • Experience with VoIP / IP Telephony design and support
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues end-to-end
  • Strong communication skills; ability to work with technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience in regulated environments (financial services preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cisco Certifications ( CCNA / CCNP / CCIE)
  • Firewall/security certifications (Juniper, Fortinet)
  • Experience with network security controls and compliance frameworks
Exposure to large-scale, multi-site enterprise environments
