Description
Focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting end-user computing systems across hospital and clinic environments. The role supports clinical and administrative staff, ensuring technology is reliable, secure, and aligned with healthcare operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-User Support - Provide hands-on troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals used across Cottage Health facilities.
2. Software Installation and Maintenance - Install, configure, and update clinical and administrative applications, productivity tools, and system utilities.
3. Hardware Deployment - Set up new workstations, replace aging equipment, and manage device lifecycle tasks.
4. Ticket Management - Respond to help desk tickets, prioritize issues based on clinical urgency, and document resolutions thoroughly.
5. Network & Access Support - Assist with user account setup, password resets, access permissions, and basic network connectivity troubleshooting.
6. Clinical Environment Support - Ensure devices used in patient care areas remain functional, compliant, and available, coordinating with clinical teams when downtime affects workflows.
7. Security & Compliance - Follow Cottage Health's IT security policies, support patching cycles, and help maintain HIPAA-compliant systems.
8. Collaboration - Work closely with System Support Analysts and other IT teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
-Experience supporting Windows-based desktops and laptops in a professional environment.
-Familiarity with Active Directory, user provisioning, and enterprise software deployment.
-Ability to diagnose hardware and software issues efficiently in fast-paced clinical settings.
-Strong communication skills for working with clinicians, administrators, and IT peers.
-Understanding of healthcare privacy and security requirements (HIPAA).
-Customer-service mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
