Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead key areas of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
- Maintain GL integrity, reconciliations, and accurate financial reporting.
- Support multi-division and consolidated financial reporting.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting across AP, AR, payroll, cash, and general accounting.
- Strengthen accounting policies, internal controls, and SOPs.
- Support audits, tax requirements, and compliance.
- Analyze job costs, WIP, margins, and profitability.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and KPIs.
- Improve ERP workflows, reporting, automation, and accounting processes.
- Partner with operations and leadership to improve financial visibility and decision-making.
- Provide guidance and oversight to accounting team members.
- Take on broader accounting leadership responsibilities with a path toward the Controller role.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8 + years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience as a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or similar senior accounting role.
- Strong GAAP, financial reporting, GL, close, reconciliation, and internal control experience.
- Experience overseeing AP, AR, payroll, and general accounting operations.
- Multi-division, construction, project-based, job costing, or WIP experience preferred.
- Strong ERP/accounting systems and process improvement experience.
- CPA preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, growing organization.
