Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing tax and accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tax preparation, compliance, planning, and advisory services for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and corporate clients. This role requires strong technical tax knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to build client relationships while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. The Senior Tax Accountant will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality tax and accounting services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporate clients.
• Support tax planning, compliance, and advisory engagements to help clients achieve financial objectives.
• Analyze financial and tax data to identify opportunities and ensure accurate reporting.
• Research tax regulations and apply relevant tax laws to client engagements.
• Provide accounting support and guidance to clients as needed.
• Communicate with clients regarding tax-related questions, filings, and compliance matters.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filing requirements.
• Collaborate with internal team members to deliver timely and accurate client services.
• Assist with special tax projects and other accounting-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting required.
• Valid CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• 5+ years of recent and relevant tax accounting experience, preferably with a large public accounting firm.
• Experience working with High-Net-Worth (HNW) individuals, partnerships, and corporate tax clients.
• Strong technical knowledge of tax compliance, tax planning, and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
