Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team. This role involves working closely with clients, sales teams, and technical teams to design and present innovative data solutions that address business challenges. You will act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating deep expertise in data platforms, analytics, and modern architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

Understand client requirements and design tailored data solutions leveraging modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
Create high-level architecture diagrams and solution blueprints for data integration, analytics, and governance.

Presales Engagement

Collaborate with sales teams to qualify opportunities and define solution scope.
Deliver compelling presentations, demos, and Proof of Concepts (POCs) to showcase capabilities.
Respond to RFPs/RFIs with detailed technical proposals and cost estimates.

Thought Leadership

Stay updated on emerging trends in data engineering, cloud platforms, and AI-driven analytics.
Advise clients on best practices for data modernization, migration, and governance.

Collaboration & Enablement

Work with delivery teams to ensure smooth handover from presales to implementation.
Conduct internal enablement sessions on new technologies and solution offerings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

Strong knowledge of data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, etc.).
Experience with ETL/ELT tools, data modeling, and data governance frameworks.
Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and advanced analytics concepts.

Presales Skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
Ability to create solution proposals, architecture diagrams, and cost models.

Experience

15+ years in data engineering, analytics, or related roles, with at least 3 years in presales or solution consulting.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid architectures.

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, or related field.
