Job Title: Senior Oracle EBS Finance Functional SME

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle EBS Finance Functional SME to lead and support Oracle E-Business Suite Financials initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle EBS Financials.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into Oracle EBS solutions.

• Configure and support Oracle Financial modules, including:

  • General Ledger (GL)

  • Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Fixed Assets (FA)

  • Cash Management (CM)

  • iExpenses

  • EBTax

• Lead fit-gap analysis, solution design workshops, and business process improvement initiatives.

• Support integrations between Oracle EBS and third-party systems.

• Develop functional specifications and work closely with technical teams during development and testing.

• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system validation, and production support activities.

• Provide guidance on month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes.

• Troubleshoot production issues and recommend process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of Oracle EBS Finance Functional experience.

• Extensive experience implementing and supporting Oracle EBS R12 Financials.

• Strong expertise in GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and related financial modules.

• Experience with business process mapping, requirements gathering, and solution design.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial operations.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud Financials migration or transformation projects.

• Knowledge of Oracle EBS integrations, reporting, and workflow processes.

• CPA, CMA, or Oracle Financials certifications are a plus.

• Public sector or large enterprise implementation experience preferred.
