Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Specialist with strong technical expertise to drive PLM-CAD integration, optimize engineering workflows, and support product development from concept through manufacturing. In this role, you will work closely with engineering teams as the subject matter expert for our PLM platform, ensuring complex product data integrity, streamlining engineering change processes, and enhancing cross-functional engineering collaboration across the product lifecycle. In this role, you will lead PLM operations for New Product Introduction (NPI) across Celestica's Hyperscale, AI, and Datacenter hardware portfolios. You will partner with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, component engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless Bill of Materials (BOM) maturity, component readiness, and rapid transition from design to full-scale production.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Lead the technical administration and optimization of the company's PLM platform (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill, Arena, Agile, or Enovia) in direct support of engineering design workflows.
  
• 
  Manage and process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and Document Change Orders (DCOs) to ensure timely approvals and implementations.
  
• 
  Create, structure, and maintain complex Bills of Materials (BOMs) and item master data across PLM and ERP systems.
  
• 
  Analyze and resolve complex technical product data issues, ensure seamless CAD model integrity within PLM, and support engineering release cycles.
  
• 
  Train cross-functional users (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality) on PLM best practices and standard operating procedures.
  
• 
  Audit system data regularly to ensure accuracy, compliance with regulatory standards, and proper revision control.
  
• 
  Partner closely with design, systems, and hardware engineering teams to deepen CAD-PLM integration and enable efficient automated data flow to ERP systems.
  
• 
  Drive continual improvement and identify opportunities for AI enhancements and process automation.
  

Skills:

• 
  Proven experience implementing/administering PLM Tools (Teamcenter, Windchill, Arena, Agile, Enovia, etc.) in direct support of engineering design workflows.
  
• 
  Deep understanding of document control, BOM structures, and engineering change management processes.
  
• 
  Strong technical understanding of CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, Cadence, Allegro) and their integration with PLM and ERP systems.
  
• 
  Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a high degree of technical aptitude.
  
• 
  Experience with CAD data migration and legacy product data restructuring into modern PLM environments.
  
• 
  Knowledge of industry-specific compliance and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA, AS9100).
  
• 
  Demonstrated success driving engineering process improvements, technical change management, and design collaboration workflows.
  
• 
  Experience managing component approved vendor lists, component lifecycle management, and documentation.
  
• 
  Familiarity and willingness to use AI to automate processes and improve efficiency.
  

Typical Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in a PLM/PDM engineering data management, configuration management, or product structure role

Typical Education:

• 
  Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field.
