Description
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. As part of this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of banking products through comprehensive testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing processes, specifically with ATM Technology and Virtual Tellers.
Responsibilities:
Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of all requirements.
Plan and conduct testing activities, including manual, automated, regression, and performance testing.
Collaborate with business and development teams to review objectives and ensure requirements are testable.
Create detailed test strategies and plans, aligning with project goals and timelines.
Facilitate reviews of test deliverables and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Validate test data through database queries and ensure accuracy in end-to-end testing flows.
Document and report test results, including summaries and production readiness deliverables.
Identify and escalate quality issues promptly, adhering to established processes.
Participate in off-hour production releases and provide support as needed.
Maintain and adapt regression test suites to meet evolving requirements.
Requirements
Proficiency in manual testing processes, including test case creation and execution.
Experience with automated testing tools and scripting.
Strong understanding of user acceptance testing (UAT) methodologies.
Ability to analyze technical and architectural specifications for test planning.
Familiarity with database query execution for data validation purposes.
Excellent documentation skills for test strategies, plans, and results.
Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to identify risks and blockers, proposing solutions to ensure testing progress.
