VERY SENIOR ROLE
Looking for a top-notch Principal-level AI Architectural Leader to bridge the gap between human intent and machine execution in a high-stakes, regulated financial environment. Our direct client is not just adopting AI tools, the company rebuilding our Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to be AI-native from the ground up. In this role, you won’t just write a policy; you will deliver a working development framework with AI in its core.
QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years in Software Engineering and Architecture, specifically building frameworks other developers depend on.
The candidate must be an AI Practitioner: you don’t just watch demos; you use Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot daily in real, complex codebases.
The candidate must have a clear understanding why AI in a "brownfield" legacy environment is a completely different challenge than a greenfield startup.
Excellent knowledge of Context Engineering Templates.
Experience in financial services, particularly regulated environments (SIFMU, bank, exchange, clearinghouse) is strongly preferred.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and quality gate enforcement.
Background in Organizational Change Management — understanding that SDLC transformation is a culture change, not a standards document.
Staying current with rapidly evolving AI development practices — demonstrated through conference participation, publications, or community engagement.
