Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Workday IT Manager to oversee the Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Finance (FIN) modules within our Workday system. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the configuration, implementation, and ongoing optimization of these modules to support the organization’s operational efficiency. This role will partner closely with Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure the Workday platform meets evolving business needs, while driving strategic improvements and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Workday SCM and FIN Management:
• Lead the ongoing administration, enhancement, and optimization of the Workday SCM and FIN modules.
• Ensure the accurate configuration of financial and supply chain workflows, including procurement, budgeting, expense management, general ledger, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and IT teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with policies.
• Manage system integrations with external suppliers, financial institutions, and other third-party systems.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Workday administrators, analysts, and developers focused on SCM and FIN modules.
• Foster a collaborative environment, working with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Oversee the execution of projects from inception to completion, ensuring project goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Strategic Planning & Optimization:
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of the SCM and FIN modules.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define system requirements and lead system upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations.
• Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and efficiency gains through Workday functionality.
• Issue Resolution & Support:
• Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex technical issues related to Workday SCM and FIN modules.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve technical issues by coordinating with the Workday support team and internal resources.
• Monitor and ensure timely updates to the system, including software patches and feature releases, while minimizing disruptions to business operations.
• Compliance & Reporting:
• Ensure all processes within the SCM and FIN modules adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and internal/external audits (e.g., SOX compliance).
• Design and maintain customized reports and dashboards to provide financial and supply chain analytics to business leaders.
• Training & Development:
• Develop and deliver training programs to ensure users across the organization are knowledgeable about system functionalities and best practices.
• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday SCM and FIN, providing guidance and expertise to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday, focusing on the SCM and FIN modules.
• Proven experience leading the implementation and management of Workday SCM and FIN, including financial reporting, procurement, inventory management, and expense processing.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing IT resources for system optimization and enhancement.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of financial and supply chain management processes and workflows.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple complex projects concurrently.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement.
• Expertise in Workday integrations and data migration strategies.
• Knowledge of Workday reporting and security best practices.

Preferred Certifications:

• Workday Financial Management and SCM Certifications.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications.

NOTES:

·      -  Technical and Functional Workday experience. Not someone from “operations” – must be on the Workday IT side.

·       - Salary: Up to $160k (maybe able to get to $170k)

·      -  Must have healthcare experience.

·      -  Need 7 years of ERP experience (minimally 2 years of Workday)

·       - Somebody who is growing into a supervisor/maybe a lead

·       - Manage 7-8 Workday Analysts from both FIN and Supply Chain groups
