Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs an Epic BMDI Principal Integration Engineer, you will be a visionary technical leader and a cornerstone of our smart, engaged Bedside Medical Device Integration (BMDI) team. We seek a highly self-motivated individual who possesses an exceptional sense of ownership, driving critical projects from conception through to robust implementation. Your expertise will be paramount in architecting, optimizing, and ensuring the seamless integration of diverse medical devices with Epic, including bedside monitors, mechanical ventilators, anesthesia machines, hemodialysis, infusion pumps, cardiac output, BIS monitors, and perfusion equipment. You will serve as the definitive subject matter expert, adept at resolving highly complex software problems, establishing best practices for design and coding, and shaping our architectural vision. Beyond your technical leadership, you will passionately mentor and guide all engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence within BMDI to positively impact healthcare outcomes.
- May be called upon to manage a cross functional or enterprise level major incidents or failure
- Lead large EAI teams in large complex projects (and support issues) or functional areas of larger projects or programs
- Heavy emphasis on Clinical and Revenue Cycle management product lines and workflow
- Provides expertise, or leads, in the evaluation, engineering/design and implementation services for new products, technologies and solutions to address corporate business requirements
- Has a deep awareness and understanding of emerging trends and technologies in IT and Healthcare and is considered a technical expert

- Bachelors Other in Computer Science, Technology, Medical, or Business discipline or equivalent experience, upon hire and
- Broad experience with server, infrastructure architecture and application design, upon hire and
- Leading architectural design of large enterprise initiatives and A record of partnering with Clinical and/or Revenue Cycle Management Senior leadership, upon hire.
