Our client needs a Software Engineer II to join the Frontier AI remediation initiative to help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve outstanding application vulnerabilities and technical issues across a portfolio of existing applications. This is primarily an on-premises .NET environment, with a strong emphasis on C#, SQL, and application remediation rather than new feature development.

Key Responsibilities

Remediate vulnerabilities and outstanding technical issues across existing applications.
Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain applications using C# and .NET.
Work with both .NET Framework and .NET Core applications.
Query and work with SQL databases to support application remediation.
Work with existing MVC and web-based applications.
Collaborate with development and technical teams to resolve security and application issues.
Support applications through remediation and deployment processes.
Work within existing GitHub and CI/CD environments as applicable.
Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot when available.

Required Skills:

3+ years strong hands-on C# / .NET development experience.
Experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
Experience working with SQL/SQL Server.
Ability to troubleshoot and modify existing applications.
Strong understanding of software development and application remediation.

Preferred Qualifications

ASP.NET / ASP.NET Web Forms
MVC
JavaScript
Angular/AngularJS
API development
GitHub / GitHub Actions
CI/CD pipeline experience
Harness or similar CI/CD technology
Experience working with application vulnerabilities or security remediation

Banking/financial services experience is a bonus
