Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot, and Maven.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS integrations.
- Experienced with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Code Pipeline, and CloudFormation
- Testing and Methodology:
- Solid experience with automated testing using tools such as Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, Playwright and Cypress.
- Understanding of the Twelve-Factor Application Methodology.
- Cloud and Security:
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native design, development, and delivery using AWS technologies including ECS, EventBridge, S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, RDS/Aurora, Cloudwatch.
- Knowledge of application security vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinker with the capability to troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and 7+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred:
- AWS Certified Developer Associate or higher.
- Experience with Angular for front-end development.
- Knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems.
- Experience with event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of AWS CDK and infrastructure as code.
