Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant

One of our clients in Newark, NJ is urgently looking for an Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant.

Duration: 12 months +

Hourly: $65 per hour (C2C / 1099)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud technical development and integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing reports, integrations, data conversions, and extensions while collaborating with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver scalable Oracle HCM Cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support Oracle HCM Cloud technical solutions across Core HR, Talent Management, Recruiting, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, and Absence Management.
• Design, develop, and maintain HCM Extracts, BI Publisher Reports, OTBI Reports, Fast Formulas, and HDL/HSDL data loads.
• Build and maintain inbound and outbound integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and HCM Data Loader (HDL).
• Develop data conversion and migration scripts for Oracle HCM Cloud implementations and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to reports, integrations, and data interfaces.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Create technical design documents, deployment guides, and support documentation.
• Optimize existing integrations and reports for improved performance and reliability.
• Support quarterly Oracle Cloud updates by assessing impacts and implementing required changes.

Required Skills

3–5 years of Oracle HCM Cloud technical experience with strong expertise in:

• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• HCM Data Loader (HDL/HSDL)
• HCM Extracts
• BI Publisher
• OTBI Reports
• Fast Formula
• REST APIs & SOAP Web Services
• SQL
• XML, XSLT, XPath
• Oracle Visual Builder (preferred)
• Experience with Oracle Security, Role Management, and Data Security concepts.
• Good understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud architecture and technical framework.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
