Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst to support and improve Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering applications used in power generation plants. The candidate will work with business users and IT teams to gather requirements, configure applications, troubleshoot issues, test solutions, and support application deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements from Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
• Prepare business requirements, workflows, functional design documents, and user manuals.
• Support, configure, and maintain operational applications.
• Work on electronic logbook development, reports, and application enhancements.
• Perform internal testing, integration testing, and user experience (UX) testing.
• Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with technical teams and vendors.
• Support application upgrades, patches, and production deployments.
• Follow change management procedures and understand SOX controls.
• Provide user support, training, and documentation.
• Support Engineering & Construction (30%) and Operations & Maintenance (70%) business functions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in application implementation, administration, and support.
• Experience supporting applications in power generation or plant operations environments.
• Knowledge of business analysis, requirements gathering, functional design, and testing.
• Experience with Hexagon/Octave/Intergraph applications.
• Knowledge of SQL queries and scripting.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and web services.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn new applications and technologies.

Preferred Skills

• IBM Maximo experience, especially work management and supply chain.
• Experience with J5/Hexagon/Octave electronic logbooks, IndustraForm, report development, and Python.
• Knowledge of Permit to Work or electronic Lockout/Tagout (eLOTO) systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Autodesk Vault, Smart 3D, Smart Instrumentation, SmartPlant Review, and PlantState Integrity.
• Understanding of SOX controls and application development versus deployment processes.

Ideal Candidate: A strong Business Analyst/Application Support professional with experience in Operations and Maintenance applications, preferably in the power generation industry, who can gather requirements, support users, test solutions, and coordinate application enhancements.
