Role: Senior Network Test & Certification Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Network Test & Certification Engineer with strong enterprise networking, automation, Linux, and AI-assisted engineering experience. The engineer will be responsible for testing and certifying network hardware, software releases, patches, and new features before production deployment.

Key Responsibilities – make sure below highlighted skill in yellow are mandate.

• Perform network lab testing, functional/regression testing, code and patch certification, performance and interoperability validation.
• Test and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, L2/L3, routing, switching, failover and convergence scenarios.
• Work with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ASR/ISR and IOS-XE/NX-OS environments.
• Develop network test automation using Python, Ansible, APIs and Git/GitHub.
• Use AI/GenAI and Agentic AI to accelerate test-case generation, log/configuration analysis, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, CVE/patch assessment and certification reporting.
• Perform Linux-based network troubleshooting using tcpdump, Wireshark and related tools.
• Document test results, defects, risks and production-readiness recommendations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on Network Engineering experience.
• Strong BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP and enterprise routing/switching.
• Hands-on Cisco Catalyst/NexASR/ISR experience.
• Experience with network testing, validation or certification.
• Good hands-on Python and Ansible automation.
• Strong Linux networking and troubleshooting knowledge.
• CCNP DevNet/DevCor or equivalent network automation expertise strongly preferred.
• Exposure to GenAI/LLMs, AI-assisted automation or Agentic AI workflows.

Preferred Skills

IXIA/Spirent, Arista, Kubernetes/CNI, Cilium/eBPF, Robot Framework, multicast (IGMP/PIM), CVE/security patch validation, CI/CD and cloud networking.

Ideal candidate: A strong Network Engineer who can combine network testing + Python/Ansible automation + AI-assisted engineering to make network certification faster, more automated and more reliable.
