Duck Creek Billing Developer — Remote (USA)

Experience: 5+ years in IT, with 3+ years in Duck Creek Billing
We are seeking a Duck Creek Billing Developer to design, configure, develop, and support billing solutions for a Property & Casualty insurance client.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Duck Creek Billing components, including invoicing, payment plans, commissions, disbursements, write-offs, and collections.
- Configure billing rules, workflows, account structures, and billing schedules based on business requirements.
- Build and support integrations with payment gateways and third-party systems using APIs, web services, and batch processes.
- Perform unit testing, defect resolution, production support, and data validation.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, and client stakeholders in an Agile environment.
- Maintain technical documentation, configuration details, and deployment procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Duck Creek Billing / BillingCenter.
- Experience with Duck Creek Author, Express, Server, TransACT, forms, and manuscripts.
- Strong knowledge of P&C billing lifecycle: direct bill, agency bill, EFT, payments, PCN, invoicing, and disbursements.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL Server, XML, and web services (REST/SOAP).
- Experience with Agile delivery, code reviews, and production support.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
